Drafting is a group exhibition by a selection of Creative
Exchange Studio artists.
The term "drafting" refers to the act of
outlining or shaping an idea before it's finalized — a fundamental part of
developing new writing, drawing, and designs in any discipline. This foyer
exhibition leaves space for drafts and explorations alongside more finished
work representing the ongoing process of creative development in the
artists' personal and collective practice.
About Us
Creative Exchange is a community of artists working in a range of mediums
including, ceramics, painting, sculpture and textiles, working side-by-side in
an environment that encourages and inspires growth. Located within the
historic Portview Mill in East Belfast, was established in 1996 by a group of
visual artists who over the intervening years have contributed to the history,
culture and economy of its locality. Creative Exchange Artist Studios is
proudly supported by Arts Council Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council.
