Connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, gain strategic leadership, effective business and operational insights in order to grow and scale your business for equally your home and export market.

Workshops are as follows:

• Nov 6^th 2025 – Lagan Valley Lisburn 10 am – 1pm “Gearing up for growth and export”

The session will focus on what’s different about a business in growth mode and how participants can gear up for growth. We’ll cover:

• The key pillars of business growth
• Growth options and how to manage these
• The essentials of business exporting

The session will include working in pairs and lots of group discussion to help you get to know and learn from each other.

An inspirational Guest speaker from a successful local business will be attending this session. 

• Nov 27^th 2025 – Haslem Hotel, Lisburn Square 10am – 1pm  “Leading a high performance business”

This session will focus on how to lead a fast-growing business in the most effective way possible. We’ll cover:

• What high performing teams do differently
• How to define objectives and use targets and KPIs effectively
• How to use the support and challenge matrix when managing your team.
• How to lead with emotional intelligence

The session will be highly practical, using real examples from within the group and helping each-other to overcome specific leadership issues within their businesses.

• Jan 29^th  2026 – Venue – Lagan Valley Lisburn 10am – 1pm – “Discovery leadership session”

This session will focus on your own leadership styles and the impact on the people you lead. It will support you as business leader to assess and implement positive leadership style behaviours in order to get the best out of your people.

• Understanding my own individual leadership style
• Gearing up to making professional changes to increase my individual leadership performance
• Communicating effectively with my team
• Getting the best out of my people

• Feb 19^th  2026 – Venue At Client Site –10am – 1pm - Operational Efficiencies

This session will include a ‘best practice’ site visit to an NI SME that has transformed the efficiency in their business through the use of LEAN processes.

The business owner will share their experiences with the group and our Workshop facilitator(s) will then take businesses through what they can do to start to make their business processes more efficient and effective as they grow. Lean efficiency will be a key theme in this final workshop.

• Live example of effective Lean Processes
• Mirroring these Lean processes for your own business
• Take away final actions for implementation into your SME, focusing on efficiencies as you grow and scale in home and export markets

This workshop is brought to you as part of Go Succeed NI. Go Succeed represents a significant investment in local entrepreneurs and businesses, funded by the UK Government.

Please note whilst Go Succeed operates across NI, this event is being hosted by Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council therefore should the event reach capacity and a waiting list is created, priority access will be given to Businesses based in the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area.
