Apply now for a Go Succeed grant to support your business growth
If you are
currently receiving or have previously received mentoring
support through the Go Succeed service, you may also be eligible to apply for a
grant to help take your business to the next level.
Delivered through Ards and North Down Borough Council, Go Succeed grants can fund up to 50%
of eligible capital costs, with a maximum grant of £4,000 and from a minimum grant of £1,000
As an example, this grant could support the
purchase of specialist equipment to automate your production processes and
boost productivity, or digital tools such as a website or software to
streamline operations and enhance how you promote your business.
Who can apply?
Be
actively trading at the time of application within your Council area.
Have
completed at least 60% of your mentoring before you apply and have
completed 100% of your mentoring before you receive the grant.
Have
identified a barrier to growth which can be addressed by this grant.
Be/have
the potential to become an employer enterprise or social economy
enterprise with a minimum of 1 full-time employee (FTE) and a maximum of
less than 50 FTEs, including the business owner(s).
Important
Information:
Businesses who have already been awarded a Go Succeed
grant are NOT eligible to apply.
Applications open on Tuesday1st September and
close on Tuesday 13th October at 12 noon.
Use Go Succeed Grants 2026 application formONLY, any previous
versions will not be accepted, and your application
will automatically be rejected.
Applications will be invited through an open call and
assessed via a competitive process.
Contact your Go Succeed Mentor to enquire with council about issuing an
application form.
Funding
is limited, and meeting the eligibility or scoring criteria does not
guarantee an award.
All
grants are paid retrospectively, following the completion of satisfactory
project monitoring and submission of requested
financial evidence. You must not start your project
until you have received and accepted a formal Letter of Offer within 14 calendar days of the date of issue.
Any costs incurred before this will not be eligible for funding. Accepted letters of offer received after 14 calendar
days will see the funding offer being rescinded.
All
grants are paid retrospectively after completion of mentoring and project completion
and satisfactory verification.
You must declare if you have applied to any other grant
funding scheme that is open at the same time as or overlapping with Go
Succeed Grants 2026, e.g., Rural Business Grant Scheme.
