This masterclass is designed to inform aspiring entrepreneurs, start-ups and established small business owners of the importance of insurance and protecting your business. The masterclass will cover key areas of business insurance including:

• Why every business should have insurance
• Examples of recent events which have affected local businesses
• The financial and reputational impact of not having insurance or being 'underinsured'
• The benefits of being correctly insured
• Some of the key insurance covers and what they mean
• Why is insurance so expensive in Northern Ireland?
• Advice on how to source the right insurance cover and advice for your business.

This Go Succeed workshop is open to all individuals in the early stages of their business, throughout Northern Ireland, and is facilitated by Enterprise Northern Ireland.

About the Presenter 

Mark Maguire has over 20 years experience in the Insurance and Claims Management Sector and a further 15+ years' of business development experience working with local businesses and globally recognised corporates across the UK. He has also founded three businesses and has an in-depth knowledge of the challenges facing small business owners in Northern Ireland and beyond. 

Utilising his wide experience and strong track record of significantly growing businesses across multiple sectors, Mark provides a range of consultancy and mentoring services direct to business owners and via business support organisations and programmes including Go Succeed.
