Facilitator Bio

Kieran Phelan is the founder and CEO of Satori Accounting, and a pioneer of cloud accounting in Northern Ireland. In 2010, he became the region’s first certified Xero Advisor and launched its first fully cloud-based accounting firm—leading the way in tech-driven finance for small businesses.

Under Kieran’s leadership, Satori has received multiple industry accolades, including winning the UK-wide Small Firm of the Year at the Xero Awards and nominations for both personal and company awards at the prestigious UK Accounting Excellence awards and the Irish Accountancy Awards.

A respected speaker, advisor, and podcast guest, Kieran is known for helping entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses gain clarity, improve profitability, and scale sustainably through digital-first accounting strategies.

Kieran’s passion for empowering business owners extends beyond the numbers. He regularly speaks on tech-enabled growth strategies, but also places a strong emphasis on the human side of entrepreneurship. In addition to his finance expertise, Kieran frequently delivers talks and workshops on softer skills such as leadership, mindset, and wellbeing in business—helping founders manage the emotional and mental demands of entrepreneurship.

He is also the author of The 360 Degrees of Professional Services, a practical guide packed with short, impactful tips for owners of small professional service firms. The book focuses on improving results, making more money, saving time, streamlining systems, and ultimately gaining peace of mind.

Kieran has appeared on The Public Eye podcast with Sarah Travers and has been a featured speaker at events such as the Belfast Business Show, Edinburgh Expo, Gembadocs Summit, Go Succeed masterclasses and a variety of online forums focused on digital tax, startup support, and small business success.
