Mid and East Antrim Tourism Network is a series of three thematic events for businesses in the tourism sector across the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area.
Are you thinking about setting up a business in the tourism sector, or have you set up a business in this sector in the last couple of years?
If so, you could benefit from this tourism focused peer support network. What this simply means is that you can get the opportunity to meet individuals with shared experiences or challenges and build relationships and connections to provide mutual support and encouragement to develop and grow your business.
We will be holding a facilitated walking tour with Go Succeed graduate Adrian Hack of Lead the Way tours who has recently established a new neighbourhood tourism group Carrickfergus Tours and Tales.
Together, we will explore the history of Ireland's best-preserved Norman Castle and the town which grew around it. The session will include a guided walking tour taking you through 900 years of local history in 90 minutes, beginning at Carrickfergus Castle and exploring its' external footprint, before moving into the town centre, exploring the Bastion behind the library and then back to High Street.
Depending on the weather we will continue conversation and networking over a coffee at the Foxy Tail mobile coffee trailer or a local coffee shop. This is the last of three events and this will provide you with a plan of action to take your learnings from one or all events to develop your networks.
