ABOUT THIS EVENT

Mid and East Antrim Tourism Network is a series of three thematic events for businesses in the tourism sector across the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area.

Are you thinking about setting up a business in the tourism sector, or have you set up a business in this sector in the last couple of years?

If so, you could benefit from this tourism focused peer support network. What this simply means is that you can get the opportunity to meet individuals with shared experiences or challenges and build relationships and connections to provide mutual support and encouragement to develop and grow your business.

Opened in 2018, this unique industrial heritage display features stories of the limestone quarrying in Carnlough, other industries of the Glens of Antrim in the 19th and early 20th Century and celebrates Carnlough’s harbour.

In this session, attendees will:

  • Hear from Mary Watson from the Heritage Hub, an experienced tour guide and learn how the local community developed this resource.
  • Hear from Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and Tourism NI representatives about support available to help develop your business further.
  • Get the opportunity to catch up with attendees from the first session or meet some new business owners.
