The Retail Exchange is a vibrant, supportive
community for retail and service providers across the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area, designed to connect, empower and inspire. Facilitated by retail expert Mags McAlpin,
this interactive series builds skills, confidence and collaboration across four
linked fortnightly sessions.
Each session builds on the last - helping participants
develop practical strategies to boost sales, increase footfall and
drive retail regeneration. To get the most from the experience, we would encourage attendance at all four sessions,
contributing ideas and insights as we grow together.
Together, we’ll share challenges, celebrate successes and
co-create a thriving community that works smarter, shouts louder and
supports one another all year round.
This is the second session in The Retail Exchange series. Mags McAlpin helps the network explore how to blend physical and digital retail strategies to keep Lisburn and Castlereagh’s shops thriving.
You’ll share insights from your trading journey, learn how to connect your shopfront with your online presence, and explore loyalty-building tactics that work. Together, we’ll co-create ideas for citywide campaigns and discuss how collective marketing can attract both locals and visitors.

businesses based in this council area.
