The Retail Exchange is a vibrant, supportive
community for retail and service providers across the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area, designed to connect, empower and inspire. Facilitated by retail expert Mags McAlpin,
this interactive series builds skills, confidence and collaboration across four
linked fortnightly sessions.
Each session builds on the last - helping participants
develop practical strategies to boost sales, increase footfall and
drive retail regeneration. To get the most from the experience, we would encourage attendance at all four sessions,
contributing ideas and insights as we grow together.
Together, we’ll share challenges, celebrate successes and
co-create a thriving community that works smarter, shouts louder and
supports one another all year round.
This first session launches the series - join Mags McAlpin and fellow city
centre retailers and service providers to set shared goals, discuss local challenges and identify
opportunities to strengthen Lisburn and Castlereagh’s retail community.
We'll explore what’s working, where the gaps are, and how
collective action can make a lasting impact. You’ll connect with peers,
exchange fresh ideas and help shape the priorities for future sessions.
As the foundation of the programme, this session lays the
groundwork for collaboration - setting the tone for a supportive network where
every voice matters.

in-person event. Whilst Go Succeed operates across NI, this event is being
hosted by Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, therefore should the event
reach capacity and a waiting list is created, priority access will be given to
businesses based in this council area.
