The Retail Exchange is a vibrant, supportive
community for retail and service providers across the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area, designed to connect, empower and inspire. Facilitated by retail expert Mags McAlpin,
this interactive series builds skills, confidence and collaboration across four
linked fortnightly sessions.
Each session builds on the last - helping participants
develop practical strategies to boost sales, increase footfall and
drive retail regeneration. To get the most from the experience, we would encourage attendance at all four sessions,
contributing ideas and insights as we grow together.
Together, we’ll share challenges, celebrate successes and
co-create a thriving community that works smarter, shouts louder and
supports one another all year round.
In the third session of the series, we’ll build on our shared foundation by reviewing current promotion campaigns. Facilitated by Mags McAlpin, the group will evaluate what’s already in place, share what’s working well and identify collaborative ways to maximise sales opportunities.
Together, we’ll uncover quick wins for in-store and online visibility, fine-tune displays and develop smart, joint actions to boost footfall.
This session is all about peer learning, honest discussion, and creative collaboration - using the group’s combined experience to make a real difference. Attendance ensures you stay part of the conversation and build on the progress made in previous sessions!

businesses based in this council area.
