The Retail Exchange is a vibrant, supportive community for retail and service providers across the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area, designed to connect, empower and inspire. Facilitated by retail expert Mags McAlpin, this interactive series builds skills, confidence and collaboration across four linked fortnightly sessions.

Each session builds on the last - helping participants develop practical strategies to boost sales, increase footfall and drive retail regeneration. To get the most from the experience, we would encourage attendance at all four sessions, contributing ideas and insights as we grow together.

Together, we’ll share challenges, celebrate successes and co-create a thriving community that works smarter, shouts louder and supports one another all year round.

The final session of the series brings everything together. Mags McAlpin will guide the group in reviewing progress, celebrating success and shaping a shared vision for Lisburn and Castlereagh’s retail future. Together, participants will explore partnerships, funding, lobbying opportunities and regeneration initiatives.

We’ll co-create a Lisburn and Castlereagh Retail Charter and a collaborative marketing calendar - practical tools to keep the network active and visible long after the programme ends. This is the culmination of your peer learning journey, where ideas become action and connections become long-term partnerships.
