The Go Succeed Start team hosts this 'Thinking About Self-Employment? Is Entrepreneurship Right for You?' masterclass.

This masterclass will:

• Introduce the realities of self-employment - highlighting both opportunities and challenges so an informed choice can be made.
• Provide a framework to assess personal readiness - covering motivations, skills, finances, and mindset.
• Build understanding of core business fundamentals - customer needs, pricing, cash flow, and operational basics.
• Offer practical tools and exercises to test and shape a business idea.
• Signpost support networks and programmes available in Northern Ireland 

Attendees will gain:

• The ability to evaluate whether self-employment aligns with personal goals and circumstances.
• Greater awareness of individual strengths, gaps, and areas to develop for business success.
• Working knowledge of basic financial planning, including costs, pricing, cash flow, and break-even awareness.
• An appreciation of the importance of operational systems, resilience, and continuous improvement to remain in business.
• A clear next step for moving forward, with knowledge of local support services available.

This Go Succeed workshop is open to all individuals in the early stages of their business, throughout Northern Ireland, and is facilitated by Enterprise Northern Ireland.
