We will show you the fundamentals you need to register your business properly and provide you with practical guidance and tips on essential business financial elements to improve your start-up.

You will learn:

  • The differences between a sole trader and a limited company and how to choose
  • How and when to register your business properly
  • How to organise and manage your key business finances such as cash flow; managing and paying your taxes; pricing for profit; preparing for funding; organising your bookkeeping; planning ahead with clear actions
  • How and when to oversee your business finances and increase your chances of survival and growth

There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions about your own business and learn from other real life start-up business cases.

This Go Succeed workshop is open to all individuals in the early stages of their business, throughout Northern Ireland, and is facilitated by Enterprise Northern Ireland.

About the Presenter

Tony Haren is owner/director of Admor Business Solutions, which he founded in 2004. He is a Member in Practice of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with over 35 years’ experience in banking/finance and providing advice to business owners.  Tony is a Premium Business Adviser with Enterprise NI and a Business Finance Mentor with Tourism NI. He is also a Senior Credit Reviewer with Credit Review Ireland, whose role is to independently review appeals by business owners whose bank borrowing requests have been declined.
