The Organisers of ‘Concert for Noah’ have been informed that the intended destination for the receipt of profit funds for the event, ‘the Noah Donohoe Independent Investigation’ are no longer in need of public funds.

Respecting their wishes and having had discussions with Noah’s family, we now plan to give the proceeds to the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice charity instead.

A spokesperson for the charity said “Northern Ireland Children's Hospice is delighted to authorise the organising of a concert on the 24th May 2024 at Custom House Square in Belfast. All profits from this event will be donated to the charity.”

“Northern Ireland Hospice has been delivering palliative care to local people for over 35 years. We support and care for infants, children, and adults who are adjusting to life, living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, up to their death and into family bereavement support.”

“We remain eternally grateful and indebted to everyone who helps us each day, week, month, and year across Northern Ireland and beyond.”

Producer and Investigator, Donal MacIntyre said that he was “incredibly grateful for the support the investigation has received and said that his work is on-going.” - “The investigation is progessing well but it is clear to us that there are now better destinations for the funds raised” he said.

The concert organisers said that “We understand entirely that the landscape has changed but that it was too good an opportunity to raise funds for an incredibly deserving children's charity such as the amazing NI Children’s Hospice, to cancel.”

“We’re pleased that the concert will still go ahead and respecting the wishes of Mr MacIntyre and the Donohoe family, we will now re-brand the project as ‘Concert 4 Little Stars - In Aid of the NI Children’s Hospice', especially given the recent announcement that government funding for the Children’s Hospice has been cut and they’re having to greatly reduce the care they are now able to give to local sick children. The funds raised from the concert couldn’t go to a more worthy cause and we look forward to putting on this fantastic show and helping raise as much as we can for the Hospice, and hope that you will all be happy to help us in our efforts in doing so.”

The concert line-up, date, times and venue are all unchanged with the Westlife & Boyzone Superstars Brian McFadden & Keith Duffy performing all of their bands biggest hits live, as well as local singing legend Brian Kennedy, pop-folk band ‘Who Owns Ye’, ITV The Voice Kids star Jarlaith Mervyn and U105’s Dj Johnny Hero. Not to mention a host of top pop tributes to Cher, Freddie Mercury, Adele and Stevie Nicks - a fantastic night of entertainment and reflection”.

Given the change of charitable organisation, an email with further information has been sent to all ticketholders. We do hope that you’ll all come and enjoy the show, and can be assured that your attendance is very much appreciated by the organisers and the amazing NI Children’s Hospice alike.

Tickets are still available for purchase for £29.50 each and can be found on and on Glistrr ❤️
