Tutor Lisa Ann Puhlhofer

Lisa is a portrait painter and working artist based on Islandmagee. Originally self taught. She completed a Portraiture Diploma at Heatherleys School of Fine Art in London. She was a semi finalist on the Sky Arts series Portrait Artist of the Year 2018 and has exhibited work in London, Ipswich and Belfast. She has undertaken many commissions, her Portrait Commision of the retiring Principal hangs in the Collection at Regents Park College University of Oxford.

This workshop is designed for those who want to learn or expand their use of charcoal as a drawing medium. Suitable for students with some drawing experience. We will explore different types of Charcoal, tools, mark making and techniques.
There will be a still life scene set up to explore and draw and students will hopefully leave with added confidence in using this versatile medium.
