This workshop will provide an understanding of finance and funding in business and the landscape supporting businesses in Northern Ireland. we'll cover:  

- Where are you now 
- Knowing your business inc financial basics to better understand your funding needs.  
- Funding and business planning 
- A strategic approach  
- Types of funding available in NI and the differences between grants, loans, overdrafts  
- The funding landscape 
- Who to approach and how to approach them
- What funders look for
- Requirements and outcomes.  

By the end of the session, participants will have developed a greater understanding of finance, the requirements of funders and how to present you financial case for funding support.
