This workshop is delivered as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. Many owner managers at the beginning of their journey can appreciate the importance of social media, but may not be sure how or where to start or understand the reasons why. Just posting is not always enough to get your business off the ground or growing on socials. This workshop will help you to understand and decide on your brand. We will explore how portray a brand through socials, and either start creating or evaluate any content.
This workshop will be geared at owner managers who currently are at the start of their journey or maybe have a smaller presence on socials. You will either be about to launch on socials, or you might be frustrated that your content is not getting the right engagement and your reach is not growing.
In this session, you will learn:
What a brand is and how to make sure it is consistent throughout your socials.
How to start to create your content – why might work/ why it might not work?
How to find keywords for your content
How to set goals to keep yourself accountable on socials
How to build a social media strategy and making sure you are accountable to it.
By the end of the session, participants will have a solid understanding of LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter/ X platforms. Including who uses the platforms, when to post and how often to post. Participants will understand how to write a successful caption for socials, and the right hashtags/ keywords to use. We will also start to develop your social strategy to consider all of the headers so you can populate and finalise for your own specific business.
You will also hear from our guest speaker Jonny Reid (Sweet Robyns) as he shares his story of how he went from Bedroom to Brand.
This workshop is brought to you as part of Go Succeed NI. Go Succeed represents a significant investment in local entrepreneurs and businesses, funded by the UK Government.
