ABOUT THIS EVENT

The Go Succeed Start team hosts this in-person two hour interactive workshop as part of the Enterprise Support Clinic series at Ormeau Business Park in South Belfast.

The workshop will introduce new business owners, entrepreneurs and the newly self employed based in the Belfast City Council area to social media marketing for business.

 

Delivered by Chartered Marketer, SOSTAC Certified Planner and Google Square Christine Watson, this workshop will look at the range of social media channels available to help businesses reach their most profitable target customers.

 

Participants will:

  • Gain practical insight into the steps needed to begin their social media marketing journey 
  • Be introduced to a wide range of different social media platforms relevant to their business
  • Be inspired by real-life local examples of effective social media marketing by start-up businesses
  • See how new businesses go about communicating via social media to those they seek to serve
  • Be signposted to step by step guides on setting up and optimising their chosen social media channels
  • Discover many different ways to go about growing their audiences 
  • Find out about online value propositions and the types of proven content that engages audiences
  • See how social media listening and social media searches can bring sales to their business
  • Learn how to go about implementing a content planner for their new business
  • Find out how to pre schedule content, set up autoresponders and use chatgpt for content creation and ideas
  • Uncover paid advertising options on individual social media channels
  • Identify how to benchmark their results against the competition and uncover the most important factors when measuring marketing success

Filled with quick, actionable tips, this in person workshop includes insights from launch marketing in practice across Northern Ireland as well as signposts to help participants avail of further learning opportunities to assist them in the implementation of specific social media and content marketing tools and techniques.

This Go Succeed workshop is open to individuals based in the Belfast City Council area who are in the early stages of their business, and is facilitated by Enterprise Northern Ireland.
