The Go Succeed Start team hosts this online workshop; Show Up with Purpose, specifically for female entrepreneurs.

It’s time to show up with purpose. So, in all your interactions with potential clients, partnerships, suppliers, funders, investors and even in your network you ARE your business – so what you say and how you say it becomes critically important.

We will reflect on your values for your business and explore your purpose. You will develop your value proposition in one neat sentence that you can use at anytime, anywhere. We will look at writing and delivering a good pitch, presentation skills and selling skills and how you make a good first impression. We will also look at networking – the power of your network, how to build it and how to actually engage with your peers.

Learning and Objectives

We will help you be ready to have confidence in becoming a business owner and becoming the face of your business. You will be better prepared to talk to customers or network. The session will be practical including exercises on your own and small group discussions in a supportive environment.

This Go Succeed workshop is open to all individuals in the early stages of their business, throughout Northern Ireland, and is facilitated by Women in Business in partnership with Enterprise Northern Ireland.

About the Presenter

Heather Carr is the Enterprise Programme Manager at Women In Business.  Heather brings over 8 years of entrepreneurial expertise to the team. With a background in advertising at agencies Saatchi & Saatchi, TBWA, and McCann Erickson Belfast, and business development experience at Arts & Business NI. Heather boasts a diverse skill set encompassing project management, content creation, and a range of other vital enterprise skills. Heather proudly wears the label of a serial entrepreneur, having successfully launched three businesses, including her current venture, "Kill It With Quizzes." She is an enthusiastic advocate for supporting women fulfil their business dreams, drawing inspiration from the rollercoaster of her own entrepreneurial journey! Heather's mission is clear: to empower women from all walks of life to create a better future for themselves by starting their own businesses.
