Hailing from a Hip Hop background, Riton originally rose to prominence with releases on Manchester’s legendary Grand Central label before branching into 4x4 territory with his trademark electro-edged sound as one half of Carte Blanche alongside DJ MEHDI. Their seminal single ‘Gare Du Nord’ went on to become one the biggest-selling tracks on the Ed Banger Records label. A series of singles and EP under his own moniker followed along with global tours and residencies.
Recent musical endeavours continue to showcase Riton’s versatile sound and style, co-producing for tracks Mark Ronson, SoulWax, Felix Da Housecat, Aluna George, MIA and Crookerz. Riton’s latest move found him in New York where he produced the ubiquitous club anthem, ‘Rinse & Repeat’, remixed tracks from Disclosure and Frances and also released a series of underground House EPs!
