Biography

Reger is the moniker of Belfast-based Robbie McCammon. A DJ, Producer and Crate Digger who has made his mark at numerous events like AVA, Ulster Sports Club, Banana Block and on prestigious radio stations such as NTS, BBC 6 Music and Radio Ulster. Reger's production skills have been widely recognized, earning him accolades from influential artists such as Special Request and Jaguar from BBC Radio 1. In 2020, he was a winner of Special Request's Dubplate contest, which earned him a special-cut vinyl from the legendary producer and DJ. The two artists even played together at the JikaJika! Festival in Derry in 2021. // "On the second sun-soaked day, Reger, a DJ who one excitable punter likened to "a young, Irish Ben UFO," was first up. Judging by the 21-year-old's slim build and specs, this comparison presumably had as much to do with his physical attributes as it did his tune selection and flair for digging. Surrounded by a sizeable contingent of friends and contemporaries, all kitted out with custom Boiler Room scarves emblazoned with his name, Reger cultivated an exquisite house party vibe. By the time the unmistakable sounds of "Bamboléo" by the Gipsy Kings played out as his final track, the crowd were already chanting "REGER! REGER!" in unison." ~ 'In Tracks: AVA Festival 2023', written by Michael Lawson/Resident Advisor
