Why do tickets sell out so quickly?

When details of a really popular event get released or when tickets go on sale for a popular artist, there can sometimes be a large number of people all trying to buy tickets at the same time. With fans booking over the phone and online, we can process hundreds of bookings at once – so sometimes they can go really quickly.

Think of it this way – if a popular artist is playing at a local venue with a 1,000 person capacity and 50 fans all log on to buy 4 tickets each...that’s 200 tickets gone in seconds!

If you're unlucky with getting tickets when they first go on sale, we'd always advise to check back with the venue nearer the day of the show – there's always the chance that more tickets could be released.
